Great place to stay
Laid back campground with great staff and hosts!
So pleasant and accommodating! Our Rv was broken down on 77, and they agreed to allow our camper to be towed there overnight as it was a holiday and no shops were open. Our tow no-showed, and we had to leave it on the side of 77. Ouch! Crown Cove called back and said it was no fault of ours and returned our night’s payment. Such a pleasant surprise. Plan to make reservations to stay this spring because their kindness was so refreshing!
We stayed for 3 months while working in Rock Hill. Close to Carowinds. Site was level, grounds were kept clean. Park is located in a nice area. Mailboxes and deliveries were available for an additional $10 per month. It's a small amount considering the amount of Amazon packages that were delivered. Water, Sewer, and Electrical hook ups were excellent and we did not have any issues our entire stay. Laundry room is clean and well maintained. Best of all the staff is very friendly. We really enjoyed our time here and will stay again if in the area.
Very clean! Nice people! We like it very much!
It's a lovely park. We stayed for 1 night. The grounds are well cared for, plenty of room between rigs. Very quiet at night. The staff is very friendly. A great dog park.
Quiet campground. Friendly staff. Perfect for camping and going to nascar races. No fire rings. Tables at sites

This review is regarding their sewer dump. This campground is easy to access and they charge $20 an hour for you to pull onto a campsite, empty your sewer and fill up with water. The receptionist was very polite. I've never camped here. It is too close to my home. The grounds are clean and appeared to be well kept. The bathhouse looked well kept. This campground isnt particularly scenic but the advantage is the convenience of the location. It is located directly behind a ton of condos.
Love this campground! Shaded lots, quiet, very respectable establishment!
I'm a travel nurse and stayed in this RV park for a couple months. It was clean, residents were friendly, very safe area and we really have nothing negative to say. Most of the spots are shaded in the lower half (where we were). The top, newly built half is for bigger rigs and isn't shaded, but well groomed. There's a clean laundry room and bathhouse. The staff inside are honestly the best part of this park. They are all super friendly and ready to help with whatever you need. Maintenance came out and sprayed for ants, assisted with a water hose malfunction and were always friendly. 10/10 would stay here again!
My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at Crown Cove for 10 months while we looked for land and finally built a home. Emily and her staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. We enjoyed going into their very clean and organized office to pick up mail, etc. We were always met with a smile. The park is in a perfect location in Fort Mill and close to so many amenities, including Carowinds Amusement Park, Cabela's, and lots of restaurants, with Salmeri's Italian Kitchen being our favorite.I would highly recommend staying at Crown Cove whether your passing through for a few days, or for a long term stay, like we did.
Sites are very close together but it's a nice park. Very quiet. Friendly staff
We stayed there this weekend! GREAT experience. We brought dogs and children. Everyone was friendly and Amber at the front was amazing. She communicated well with us and made sure we knew all of the details before heading to our spot. We will definitely be back. Thank y'all for a great experience for our first time traveling with our RV!
The campground is nice and the staff is great to work with. My job required me to leave early and come back at another time. The staff was willing to work with me on the schedule and helping me schedule a new date.I would and will come back to this campground again and would tell those that travel to use this site.
Quiet RV park. Clean bath house. We've enjoyed our stay here.
Great RV Park
So happy with our visit here! The grounds are well kept, the facilities are clean & safe... and the staff is super friendly! I know this park has been around a while and they do a great job...always made us feel welcome and taken care of. Thanks Crown Cove Team!
My daughter lives there and that is the cleaness and nicest park I've seen
Great park with a friendly staff!
As a travel nurse, traveling in our rv for over 2 years, we have been to many rv parks. This is one of the best. Ample space between lots, plenty of trees, well maintained roads, and courteous, helpful staff. Nice new bath house, propane on site and laundry room. The staff clearly explain the park rules and enforce them. Highly recommend if you're in the Charlotte area!
I’ve only ever been to a couple campgrounds but this was by far the best. All sites were well maintained and the staff was great. Definitely 5 star worthy.
The Roaming Gomes
We have been full time RV living for two and a half years now and this is our second favorite park! Our first was in Tucson, AZ and that setting just couldn't be beat. The park is clean, well kept and pretty. The only thing lacking for us is maybe a pool or a recreation room but that's nitpicking when you're so close to Charlotte. Love this place and the staff is absolutely awesome.
Absolutely love this place! Well kept, clean and safe. Highly recommended!
What a great experience! Staff was extremely nice and helpful, the park is beautiful and probably one of the cleanest bath houses I’ve ever seen at a campground! I would definitely recommend Crown Cove to anyone.
This park is clean and well kept. The owners are constantly renovating the park.
Better prices for a full propane tank than a tank exchange.
Great facilities. Hospitable staff. Propane supplier. Easy in. Easy out.
I didn't end up staying so that part I can't attest to. The young lady in the office was knowledgeable when I was getting rates and what was included. After I took a ride through the park, it was clean, they had propane on site.
Needed propane, and they were very responsive, even though I was not staying there. Very friendly
Nice and shady area. Laundry facilities, full hook ups, military discount, sewer, bathhouse and clean. Prices are a little high for nightly stay but we had a good stay. Staff doesn't wear masks in common areas nor do residents. So be aware of that. But a nice place over all.
Looks like a great campground. No spots available currently, unfortunately. We were told to call back in November to see what they had available. Bums me out as we needed something before mid-september.
excellent service and very friendly
Love it here.. Quiet and peaceful and the staff are really GREAT!!
Great place! Nice shaded sites and a good layout! I wish visitors would pick up their dog’s messes, but the campground staff tries to control that; hard task. Overall, a great experience.
Best RV so far ! And very neat.Especially if you are traveling for work
Great place to stop for an overnight stay. The grounds are safe and in a nice area. Staff are friendly and work to try and accommodate you. Didn't have issues with the water like other reviews have mentioned but I only stayed overnight so can't speak on long-term use.
Great place love it and the dog park is a plus
Stayed here twice. Lots of updates since 1st time. We had nice shades site with great access.
We recently stayed here on our way to WV. Perfect overnight stop for us traveling out of Florida going north. They have great service from maintenance to front desk customer service. Real salt of the earth people. Anytime we need to stay in the area, this will be our place.
Great service, nice people working at the office. Will definitely go back again.
We camped three nights and it was perfect! We had two dogs with and plenty of room to walk them. It was so quiet during our stay. We have a class C and pulled a Jeep. There was plenty of room. Staff and everyone was so friendly. We would definitely stay again. 😀
Enjoyed out stay. Nice, clean, well-managed campground.
Stayed overnight on the way down to Florida. What a great place to stay! Everything was beyond my expectations! Will definitely stay here again.
Everything was nice especially the ladies checking you in . very pleasant and acomadsting 👍🥰
Large park, most of which is on a wooded hillside. The blacktop pads require more than average leveling. New bathhouse has 8 toilet/shower suites with good pressure, a huge shower, and painted cinder block walls. Decent Wifi. Overall a quiet park with lots of monthly guests.
The monthly price is a bit pricey but the campground itself is in a prime location to shopping, Carowinds, charlotte area etc. They have nice laundry facilities that are clean and well kept. They also have a small playground for kids and bath houses(i have not been in the bathhouse to review it). Camper spots have concrete pads with plenty of room. They also have propane on site which is very convenient. The office staff are super friendly and helpful. We stay here every year for the nuclear outage and will continue to do so.
We had a great experience at this park! Everyone in the office is sweet, welcoming & helpful. Once our dog got spooked from a branch that fell & ran off into the woods. I went into the office after a while of looking & Kaitlyn was willing to send out an email with his pictures and do what she could to help. Luckily with help from neighbors we found him. When we were recently moving out, we went into the office to ask Emily about help with towing our trailer to storage since our plans fell through last minute. They couldn’t do it themselves, but went out of the way to put us in contact with someone who could. Those are some examples, but every interaction we had with them was great. Overall park was really quiet, peaceful, and well kept. The dog park is also a great amenity!
Really like the staff. It is easy to pay and the grounds are always clean. People mostly keep to themselves.
